Hello! I am quite new to CloudCompare and surface reconstruction in general. I understand what Octree depth means but I don't quite grasp the meaning of "samples per node", "full depth", "point weight" and "boundary". I would really appreciate a simple explanation of these parameters and how changing them affects the meshing process and its outcome. Thanks in advance everyone!

At some point in time there was a simple explanation of these parameters on Misha Kazhdan website: http://www.cs.jhu.edu/~misha/Code/PoissonRecon (Misha is the author of the PoissonRecon library).

you have to unfold the bullet point to see the executable parameters and their definitions
