Faro .fls import in Linux

Post by viralata »

Hello all,
new user here. I've been using CC for a while now, mainly for the point clouds from the Ciclop scanner of my fablab, and with photogrammetry.
But now I need to use it with some .fls files (from Faro 3D scanner). The point is that I'm mainly using Linux and while the FLS is said to be supported on the wiki, I've read here on the forum some people saying it may be only available on Windows.
So I need a confirmation about that: is there a way to import .fls in CC on Linux or do I have to use a windows version ?
Thanks for your advices

Yes you'll have to use a Windows version of CC.

This is because the Faro LS SDK is only available for Windows (as far as I know).
