CloudCompare and Triangle license

Hello: I see CloudCompare uses the Triangle library in order to compute Delaunay triangulations. The CloudCompare license is the GPL v2, but the Triangke one says that Distribution of this code as part of a commercial system is permissible ONLY BY DIRECT ARRANGEMENT WITH THE AUTHOR. Is this compatib...

Re: XERCES not found

Thanks for the feedback. And indeed, the support for E57 was only for Windows up to now. Can you push your modifications on the github trunk? I know this answer is a bit old, but is still valid? I'm trying to compile CloudCOmpare 2.6.1 on Debian and I'm having problems finding xerces. I've compiled...

Hello: I know this question is not directly related with CloudCompare, but could be interesting for people interesting in TLS measurements. I'm working with PTS files, exported by Faro Scene software (also observed with a Faro TLS), and I'm confused about the format. I know the first line contains t...

Re: Error installing in Debian due to libglew1.8

Hello, Romain, I'm trying to install the Debian package you sent me a month ago for Sid in another computer and I'm having dependency problems. The package for 2.5.1 version of CloudCompare you made depends on libfreenect0.1, but since a couple of weeks in Sid and Testing Debian repos there is only ...

Re: Error installing in Debian due to libglew1.8

it's a little bit weird obviously. But which version of Debian are you using exactly, testing or unstable ? R. I'm using Debian unstable 64 bits (amd64). In the official repositories there is libglew1.7 and libglew1.10, so with libglew1.10 it should work because CloudCompare (package cloudcompare_2...
