Dear user/admin,
could you try on a Mac to trace a polyline by point picking (with two points), you may see that it will choose a new point near a border and then build two polyline but not the one between the two picking point
on a windows this tools works good
I have a M1 MacBook arm64
the version of cloudcompare that I used was downloaded today : CloudCompare-2.13.0-x86_64.dmg
even with CloudCompare-2.12.3-arm64.dmg it give the same problem
