Lidar tiling on import in 2.13 vs 2.12

Hi Daniel,

It appears that the function of splitting (Tiling) a large lidar file into X by X tiles without loading the entire pointcloud appears to have been removed between 2.12 to 2.13. Used to access it by drag/dropping a large pointcloud (Open LAS File) menu opens, going to Tiling, and exporting the cloud into smaller chunks for me to process individually.

Please bring this back if missing, or indicate how I can access/do this in the new version without hogging down my PC.

I am using 2.13. Should the function be visible when you import a LAS file? I have downloaded the plugin and I can see it in the "About Plugins" window but cant see an additional tile tab. Is anyone using it in 2.13?

Yes, you should see it when loading any LAS/LAZ file (make sure to use the latest 2.13.alpha version, just in case you have one of the very first released alpha version):
