COMPARAISON BETWEEN TWO CLOUDS

Post by LAZIMAL »

Hi,
Sorry for the mistakes, but english is not my first language....
I'm working on the comparaison between two clouds for cubature.
I'd like to know where i've lost or gain material. I succeed to analyse with C2C Absolute values but i'd like to know in negative and positive and not only in positive.
Do you have a solution ?
Merci.

So C2C is not ideal to do that as it only outputs unsigned distances.

You should look at other tools:
- M3C2 which is a little bit more complicated, but gives signed distances
- C2M (if you can have a mesh version of the reference cloud) that also gives signed distances
- 2.5D Volume Calculation tool
