I was going to say, only the zoom/scale is adjusted to the point cloud extents, but not the orientation. Have you tried to set your camera once, and then save the 'viewport' as an object? CTRL+V (or Display > Save viewport as object). Then you can save this viewport in a dedicated BIN file, and relo...

Maybe that's a question for the authors, but I believe you can use 3Dmasc with a single cloud?

Sadly, it's hard to debug such an issue. Have you been able to load the DXF file in another SW? Have you even tried to reload the DXF file in CloudCompare?

Well, the 'unroll' happens about the axis, so changing it will change the result obviously.
Maybe there's an issue with the coordinate system? Hard to say without more information ;)

Yes, it's possible with the Python Runtime.
