Gah! Missed one. At least I'm on the right track... Don't know how these issues didn't come up with 2.7.
How about beta6?

Re: how to Install qAnimation on MacBook Pro?
Ok - I fixed the download. Sorry about that.
Please try beta5 when you get a chance. I see a "developer" path in that error message which means I need to do some extra work for the ffmpeg libs.
I think I've fixed them all in beta5...

Re: how to Install qAnimation on MacBook Pro?
Which 2.8 beta are you using? I kind of need the rest of that error... Can you please download the latest beta (beta5), run it, and copy-paste that entire red line here? I'm looking at the libs and don't see the issue, but it looks to be related to the ffmpeg that is packaged by homebrew. (BTW - QCA...

Re: Compiling on Mac OSX
@Jip: Daniel fixed that OpenGL error. I have also fixed any other compile errors on Mac OS X, so you should be able to compile it with the latest commit (abab41ca97d75628302ae8abc236b64940166f48). I don't see any reason Xcode shouldn't work - it's using Clang too - though I don't know what that &quo...

Re: Compiling on Mac OSX
As Daniel mentioned I don't use Xcode - so I can't really say much about that. When setting up my initial CMake build, I chose CodeBlocks for use with Qt Creator. I also use Unix Makefiles if I'm doing just a command line compile (no IDE) - and I use that to make install and put together the final p...

Re: Mac OS CloudCompare 2.5.5
Had a quick look at it and it looks like it was a packaging issue, not a code-related problem. I've repackaged it and put it on my site for download as 2.5.5.1.
Please let me know how it goes for you.

Re: Mac OS CloudCompare 2.5.5
My apologies. I just realized I only tested the build on 10.8.x (which is what I build on). It's been a busy week :-)
I will have a chance to take a look this weekend. If I need any more information I'll let you know.

Re: Retina Support
John:
If you could get in touch with me through my contact page I'd like to get you to verify that the font issue is fixed on "retina" displays. I think the build may fix a toolbar spacing issue for "retina" displays as well.
Thanks.

Re: Retina Support
John: Thanks for the note. I have actually done this in my "real" work and thought I had for CC as well, but I don't have a "retina" display so the problem was never "in my face". I'll make sure I get it in the next release. Upgrading the assets is something I would ha...
