Colors\From Scalar fields

This tool is accessible via the 'Edit > Colors > From scalar fields' menu entry.

Description

Sets the color components (RGBA or HSVA) from one or several scalar fields.

Dialog

The tool allows to set separately for each color components:

• the source scalar field
• 'Minimum' and 'Maximum' fields: the minimum and maximum values (range) inside which the scalar field values will be mapped
• 'Fix' checkbox: whether to use a fixed value instead of a scalar field
• 'Reverse' checkbox: to map the scalar fields values in the reverse order

It is also possible to map the values to the RBB or HSV color spaces ('Mapping type' radio buttons at the top).
